you. Sorry for not updating before, from now on there will be smaller, but more frequent updates
than infrequent but large ones. Now, let's see our list of updates.
Our service of Adopt-a-creature has opened. You can adopt one or
more of 19 creatures to place them on your website!
Also, we have a new Updates Newsletter which, if you subscribe
will notify you in e-mail about the website's updates.
The Articles section is now joined with the Mysteries section.
It has been rewritten for easier navigation and contains 4 new articles. Three in connection to
our search for gathering locations, and one in connection with
Desert found: Black Rock *
Chat logs - 6 logs to start with *
History article - Fully rewritten *
Vision Collection 2 - 4 new *
Archives - 2 months' descriptions *
Back we are with a nice lot of new things. First of all, we have two new
articles in the Dreams section , one called Dream Protection,
the other about Nightmares. There's also a new
section of dreams called Dreams of destruction or the end of the world, which covers just that.
There are also some miscellaneous new dreams from other people, gathered from the SFTC forum's
dream section.
As another addition, we have no less than six new music videos! Thanks to a new way to screenshot
from video files, they look even prettier than before. Head on to the Music Videos Section to
check them out. We have: Spice Girls' Say You'll Be There, Gackt's Oasis, Oasis'
Who Feels Love, Modern Talking's Atlantis is Calling, Michael Jackson's
You Are Not Alone and Janet Jackson's Together Again.
The fifth poll is up at the Poll Palace, asking how pointy your ears
may or may not be!
By the way. Those who already cast their vote on our polls, thank you! According to your votes, we
are already working on the "New Age Fluff Puff Avoidance" and the "Atlantis" sections. There is
still work to be done on them so they will be available later on.

Hello and welcome again. Exams are finally over so it's time for some updates! Sorry for the delay, folks. Let's see what novelties we've got today.
Since the forums of Spirit Online have closed we had to find another place to go. Fortunately, we found a very good free forum provider. So there it is folks. Come and see! http://forums2.asp-dev.co.uk/searchingforthechosen/
Also, we have started a little IRC chatroom on StarChat (irc.starchat.net, port 6667). If you have a n IRC program, check in sometime to #searchingforthechosen. Note that because of the time zone differences, and because it's not widespread yet, you may not meet anyone at first.
The Spirit Online Forum section has been massively updated with the forum archives from November 2001 up to March 2002. Also, each archive now is sorted into a table with size and topic information (not all topics yet are done). Also, the archives have been optimised by sorting out their HTML code.
Another novelty is that the Prophecies section has been revised: all the maps of Earth Changes known to us have been collected and put up, and the other prophecies were clipped, leaving only what may be relevant to us, here and now.
The music videos section has also been updated with Brand New Day by Sting.

We have had problems with the guestbook, it had some faulty code with which some versions of Netscape couldn't cope and it displayed nothing instead of a form for message posting. So it's done now.
There's one new dream posted in the dream log, and the Visions section has been given its own sections. Unfortunately I hadn't much time to work around the site these days so bigger updates will have to wait a while.
I thought for a long period of time on the main page. It was not only badly arranged (so many links being there... huff), but the text was in no connection with the site, I mean, what was there wasn't really what this site is about. But you won't see that anymore, that's for sure :)
As for the forum, we decided to stay on the Spirit Online forums. The archives are deleted from time to time (and I'm putting them up from time to time here) but the atmosphere is very friendly there and you can meet lots and lots of nice people.
Well, there you have it, folks. Searching For The Chosen is finally opened, two years after the whole thing started, and a few months after we started working on the site. Well basically there is no specific news because everything is new. We are still in a beta status, there may be some broken links and the like.
Don't be looking for the Misc section because it is not finished yet, but otherwise, things should be working. Look around the main site to see what we can provide you with. You can also surf around the menu on the left.
As for the forum being temporary, well it is. Not that it is not working, it is, but we're searching for a forum that can keep posts on one html instead of one post per file. That is very space-consuming and also sometimes not easy to see through. I was thinking along the lines of the Discus engine (like what Spirit Online has), but it's quite complicated and I don't understand how it works, yet.
Future plans: Finishing the Music Videos section (can be expected soon), give more excerpts from the SOL Archives (that is quite a lot of work), extending a few other sections like the film section and providing a links section.
In the more distant future, We're planning a books section and a music section.
