Here are the images I found so far on the Black Rock Desert.
Most of these images show the main land, The Playa. Image 7 shows Black Rock itself.
On image 11 you can see Gerlach in the distance. You can see that it is not really deserted.
Apart from Gerlach, this desert holds many experiments for rockets and such, and also hosts a
festival called Burning Man Festival.
