The Path chooses you; weird dreams; spiritual age

Greetings, everybody, mind if I step in here? I haven't visited this site in months, didn't know there was such an interesting discussion going on!
First I need to tell you that I'm MUCH older than most of you - old enough to be your grandmother, at least.
Secondly that I've been a solitary practising witch for about the last thirty years.
Thirdly that I've lived my life feeling 'different', seeing things in a different context from the majority of people. But to interact in society - which
you all must, since you're young - you have to barrier yourself from many of the world's concerns; not to ignore them or pretend they don't exist,
but you have to keep your personal integrity. The poet said it ; "To thine own self be true/Thou cans't not then to any man (or woman) be false."
All sorts of things I thought weird have happened; OOB's from the age of twelve,finding people and things I needed, often before I realised the
need. The strangest thing was a mystical vision many years ago now; and no, I can't decribe it! But the closest I can come is to say that it was as
if I had been given a most complex wiring diagram when I was much too young to understand it. But as I've gone through life and learned and
studied, bits of it begin to make sense. Then you see how this bit fits with that bit, and it all starts to come together. Not that I fully understand it
all yet; maybe I'm not meant to/ready to.
Just wanted to encourage you all on the path.
And you'll find that you don't choose the path you take, the path chooses you. YOU are "The
Chosen".

Yesterday was the third or fourth time that when in the second I went to sleep, I got up all-frightened, heavily breathing, panting and all
that. I was really scared and couldn't go back to sleep for another hour or so. And I didn't know what I was frightened of, I didn't see/hear
anything (not in the conscious, that's for sure...). Do you have any ideas what could've happened?
And still, my stomach is abnormally aching. I mean, it's not a cause of eating something bad or anything like this (went through all the options).
The -not so big but bad- pain is just there, and has been there for 2 weeks, and it's the source of not being able to meditate (when I try
meditating I usually end up being confused and feeling even worse than when I started).

I'd say that the whole fright thing was a serious premonition. Sometimes you wake up so fast, the memory of it doesn't have a chance to set in (I
HATE it when that happens). As for the stomachache--I'd eat peppermint. It soothes the stomach. And with meditation--different techniques work
different ways. I would concentrate on something--block the pain out. IT DOES WORK. Just takes practice. :)
Shemska--I am a couple millenia old (in spirit, of course.), and you don't know how right you are. Wise woman, I bow to your experience. The path
DOES choose you, and understanding comes in time. I was chosen, unfortunately, to take on a Guardianship far beyond my years--and
understanding had to come to me in the matter of a few months. I am not sorry, though. It has been a wondrous experience.

Hi, kids (no, I'm not being patronising, it's a term of endearment!)
Just wanted to elaborate on the path choosing you.
Sometimes, for the best possible reasons, and the best possible motives, you will decide to do something - help someone, f'rinstance. But what you
do turns out all wrong, disastrous for you and the person you were trying to help. There's a message here; DON'T INTERFERE! The other person has
his/her own way to find and if s/he's heading for trouble, it's so s/he will learn from it. It may be that by stepping in, you
are removing that opportunity to learn. There are ways to help; in your mind, surround the person with white light and send love, comfort and
healing. Before you remove the light, thank whatever Power you've invoked. (The Powers merit your courtesy and appreciation, and They like it
too!)
You may also find that sometimes your way is blocked, even when it seems that what you're trying to achieve is 'good' - going to college, for
example. If you've tried every avenue and nothing works, then it's because you're not ready. There are other, non-academic things you have to
learn first. When this happens, the crucial word is ACCEPT! Don't fuss and fume and think yourself badly done by; in fact you may well have been
prevented from making a big mistake - someone you shouldn't meet, avoidance of a place where you'd be in psychic danger. Be thankful that
you've been prevented from making a mistake. In fact, acceptance is one of the hardest lessons to learn. We always think we should 'do
something',don't we? But if you can't do what you want, go where you'd like there's always a reason, even if you can't see it. Look for other
opportunities that arise and go with those instead.
Don't know if you're into reading, but I really reccommend two books by Alan Watts; "In My Own Way" and "The Waterfall Way".

Just to let you know, I live on a mountain. I also have had visions of a great gathering. Peace is coming to earth. Those who tell you other wise
are just not opened minded to see.
Believe your visions and your heart. Trust it and follow it. I also see people following me hundreds of people. I am also told the one who is to lead us is just being called and is still doubting his path. Do not doubt yourself. For you may be the choosen one. I was one of the leaders of the people but not the main leader. When an a psychic ability is abused and used to feed your ego it usualy goes away until you are ready to receive it again!!!
The next chosen one will be deceived, because of all the others who will have taken the name "chosen one". So in fact it's probable that we will
never know he/she is the chosen one until his/her action becomes a fact that society will accept.
Love and peace are already on earth=)
Give without wanting anything in return, help without any thoughts of reward, do any small or big actions that feels pure, Love yourself and forgive
yourself all your mistakes and your wrong and learn from the experience, love others (your enemies, helpless, friends, family), learn patience,
develop your abilities to their full potentiel, simply put your ego beside you.
Once all people will follow this, this world will shine from it's beauty, so in fact we are all the "chosen one", because we have the hability to choose
to follow the light and everybodies choice is important to create the whole.
The "bad" is as important as the "good"...learn from the "bad" and turn this knowledge to positive, lighting up the way for the lost ones.

LittleRed--I would speak with you too--I share these visions, but I am within the mountain, waiting for the people to come in my visions. I am one
of the Chosen as well--or at least, I have had strangers address me with respect as such.

Being the "chosen one" is not something that you refer to yourself because people have refered to you by that name in respect...The chosen one
will know that he/she is and wont talk about it and wont need respect. His/her actions will prove his/her title like creating matter from the
emptyness...and the entire world will know from then. But The "creating" is not restricted to the chosen one, anyone can do the same, they just
have to "work" hard and follow the love.
I know creating matter sounds a bit pushed, in fact it's not creating, it's manipulating, because the matter is already there in the form of energy, in
the form of an idea, and you act as a catalyst to materialise this energy,this idea...A very simple fact that most humans accomplish is when they
have an idea and they develop it and it becomes real!!!If you push this concept further, well you could manipulate the energy to "create" matter.
Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.
We are energy ourselves, but we must "tune in" on higher vibrations, and that is love, the highest vibration, not loving others, that is only a little
part of love, i am talking about the WHOLE LOVE.
If i can ask you all with the purest of my intentions is to stop refering yourself as the "one". The "one" won't even be online when he/she will be
knowned. When you refer yourself as that, you bring in lower vibrations and it becomes harder for the real "one" because he/she has to bring
balance in the energies. (higher/lower vibrations)
Cellydon I am not wise and opened towards the universe, the universe is in me and in all of you. I am opened to myself, to my higher vibrations.
We are all one, and one is in all of us.

I have to agree with Sly on several points here (No, not just because you're Sly *G* but because it makes sense to me.) I would find it extremely
difficult to believe someone is "the ONE" when they keep trying to tell everyone that. Even Jesus in the Christian bible didn't go around telling
everyone that he was the 'chosen' or the 'son of God'. (This does not mean that I believe he was, it's merely an example.)

I believe that we are ALL "The ONE". We have all just become so separated (some even from themselves) that we just haven't realized it. Everyone
and everything is connected. It may be easiest to picture it as a sort of web, with the intricate lines connecting all energy and matter. But, as Sly
said, our egos get in the way. Some of us have an ego so huge that we can't see past the end of our nose. By ego, I don't mean that a person
thinks they're better than everyone, I mean that they are so full of themselves that they sometimes forget that they're not alone on this planet. Or
that they think everything in their life, no matter how small, is more important than anything that anyone else may be going through. I admit that I
do this more often than I'd like to think about. But, the point is that we MUST think about it in order to overcome it. I'm not trying to say that
things that happen in a person's life aren't important. Everything is important. It's how we deal with them that makes us who we are.
Ok, now I'm rambling, but back to the point of my theory: I don't think that any one person should "lead" everyone else. This leads to the sheep
mentality and people not thinking for themselves. That can be very dangerous and could also lead to this "one person" becoming drunk with power
(no matter how wise and pure of heart they are, anyone would eventually end up taking certain pleasure from having so many follow their every
word. Also, they may come under the impression that they have nothing else to learn). The "ONE" that should lead everyone is within each person.
You know, that part of you that knows that if you do something it may cause harm to another? That is the part of you that still understands the
"web" that connects us all and makes us all ONE. Every now and then a person may "reveal" certain truths that another person may have
forgotten, but if we all remembered everything at once what else would we have to learn? And we are all learning. We never stop learning.
The best any of us can hope for is that we live a good enough life that people will learn from things that we did, both good and bad. Maybe in the
end, there will be enough people who "know" about this connection that they will be able to create peace (or bring it back, whichever perspective
you see things from) and a Utopia or Nirvana or Heaven (again, depends on your perspective) on Earth.
