Fortune teller

By Firstchild, dreamed on May 25, 2002

As I said in the previous file, tonight's dream session consisted of many short dreams, the order of which I do not know. Here's the other one I remember.
Oh, one more thing about this dream. Before I went to sleep I was thinking about all the many paths that are open before me and about which I should choose. Both of the paths that are currently in my future I know too little of to choose. So anyway. Then comes the dream.

I was in my room, it was night-time but not that dark. The TV was on, but I don't know what was on it. Behind me appeared an old lady, a gypsy or dressed as a gypsy. Her face was... old, full of wrinkles, I remember. I asked her if she could now tell me what I have to do in the time to come (notice the word "now" - she was doing something in the house with someone before she came to me). I then turned around so we were looking at each other.
I saw us from the outside. I closed my eyes. She placed her right hand on the left side of my face and drew circles with her hand. She said, "I see a long and wondrous (?) path you are on", then she took off the right hand and put her left hand on the right side of my face, not the face itself but a bit higher, closer to the top of the head. She drew some circles agaion. She said, "But I also see some fear and problems with ... (I do not remember)".
Then, she removed her hand and turned around, and started to walk away (which was odd because she went in the direction where there only are walls, the windows and the door both are in the other direction). I said, "Wait! How do I overcome the fear? How do I solve those problems? Wait!", but while walking she dissolved into thin air before my eyes.

Comments: Well. Thankfully, my ability to remember dialogue has gotten a bit better, but in this case, not enough. I'm not sure about the woman's first sentence, either, only that it contained that the path I'm on (with Searching For The Chosen) will not simply walk away but it has its meaning. I remember the feeling, her "prophecy" strengthened me.
The other sentence is more irritating, for she was talking about just the problems that I'm encountering now, and I knew that I have them thank you very much (no, this was meant as fun and I don't want to hurt the feelings of the lady, sorry). This means to me that these problems can be or are meant to be solved without any outer help.
