Training centre, Panic in the Manor

I guess I'm in outer space, but it's really high-tech. It's some kind of training centre. I'm one of the trainees, and I have to say I'm better than the others in a few things.
I remember one training very sharp: Two other candidates, who I don't know, and me are in a black-walled room, with block-shaped black tiles on the floor. However, in the centre of the room, there is a pedestal at least 2x2x1 meters big. We each have a glowing red lash (something like a lightsword, but thinner and it makes no sound) in one of our hands, and there is a purple-robed woman whose name I remember as Gaia. She throws a ball-sort of thing, but definitely something round. The goal is to jump around and hit the ball. We can jump pretty high. I take all the points, I have more experience with this game, it seems. I use the side walls for bouncing off them and hitting the ball in mid-air.
In an apartement, I'm resting. Suddenly, a pokemon-sort of furry thing comes up saying "Mama! Mama!". Someone tells me that she (it was female, I think) has to be taken to her mom, because if she isn't, she explodes. I quickly checked the timer on her back (there was one, like on an old microwave), and there were only a few seconds left. I rushed with her in my hand through the corridors (it was like a labyrinth) and finally arrived in a basement where the creature's mother was. Phew, that was close.
01.19.2002.
I'm in some sort of large manor, and the headmaster of our school is holding a speech for lots of people in a ballroom-sort of place. I'm sitting in a balcony. Suddenly, the entrance of the room opens, and a woman, arond 20, enters with a strange weapon. She claims that she must take revenge on some people.
People start to panic, and the woman throws her weapon, which is like a boomerang, and kills some people. After a few throws, she aims at me. I crouch behind the ledge of the balcony when she attacks. The weapon sticks into the wall behind me, I quickly take hold of it. Upon closer examination, I see it's just a handful of bread knives, spoons and forks bundled together with a type of rubber band used for holding the tops of jars of canned fruit.
I exit the back door, and run down to the previous floor. The headmaster tells me that she is gone. People are recovering, there is some cutlery lying around. I tell the headmaster that I will go after her.
The manor really is a large building. I arrive at a buffet, where some persons unknown to me and one person I know are talking to each other. I hear the thoughts of the person I know: she has gotten enough of this world and hates it and wants to go somewhere else.
I forgot that everyone is dressed in clothes from the beginning of the 20th century, maybe because I watched Road to Avonlea the previous day.
Kilkenny arrives, and asks me if I want to play in the anti-gravity room next to the buffet. "Of course", I reply, so we go into the room and shut the large steel doors (which don't close properly). A strange sound is heard, and an anti-gravity field is activated. I leap around the walls, it's quite fun. I play with opening the doors to the buffet and showing people that I'm in mid-air and they're on the ground sitting, nyah nyah. Then the previous acquaintance of mine comes in, and I hear her thoughts again.
From here it gets hazy. I (? I don't know if it is me) meet a woman of whose identity I have no idea of, and we kiss each other. Then we go out to a garden and get attacked by six or seven curled-hair blonde women in white clothes back from even older times. Basically, they function like computer game baddies. I pick one up, throw her at the others and their head changes color, until it's red. Then all six or seven turn into normal people and there is a scooby doo-ish mistery starting without the dog. The people examine some old footsteps and teared-off grass, and such.
